József Gusztáv Rathoug the main antagonist of The Great Mouse Detective II: The Rise To Return and the second cousin to Professor Ratigan, whose death reached him and it consumed him with grief and anger. He is not a smoker like Ratigan, but is a chronic alcoholic and dislikes being called a rat. He is a very dangerous beast and will stop at absolutely nothing to strike anything for revenge. Most of Ratgian's former minions have managed to leave and become Rathoug's minions to take revenge upon Basil unlike Bill, Snakes, and Red.
