One evening, Sawyer Cat was crying in her bed when she got home because she had a heated fight with her biggest bully, Curtis Toht. Danny saw the situation unfold, so he decided to speak to her.
Danny walked up to Sawyer and said, "Sawyer, you look sad. What's the matter? Why are you crying?" "Oh, Danny, Curtis Toht is so mean!" Sawyer sobbed. "Why? What has he done wrong?" Sawyer looked at Danny with tears in her eyes. "You want to know? I'll tell you." Sawyer sniffled. "He often pushed me hard and called me horrible names. It was harassing and cruel to deal with."
Danny sighed and said apologetically, "Sawyer, none of this was your fault. It was Toht. He hurt your feelings and pushed you too hard. Max does this to me often too, the way Kirsten Blikk picks on Junior. I will be there to protect you from him and confront him in a serious way. I promise." Sawyer sniffled and said to Danny, "Oh, Danny, thank you." Danny's eyes shone with tears. back and replied, "You too, Sawyer... always."
